If you are in an emergency or disaster-related situation and need immediate assistance, please call 9-1-1.   The Storm Center is not activated. The OC Storm Center website provides information regarding road closures, rainfall data, and other storm related information in unincorporated areas of Orange County.

This information is subject to change and provided for informational purposes only. Storm Information Provided by Department Operation Center and OC Watersheds. During weather events of high intensity or long duration and certain disaster situations the OC Public Works, Department Operations Center (DOC) may be activated. Under most circumstances we can only respond to situations or concerns involving County maintained roads or flood control channels. During operational events to report problems with a County road or flood control channels call 714-955-0333.

During non-storm conditions you may report a maintenance issue or concern with a County maintained road or flood control channel by submitting a service request or contact the Operations & Maintenance office at 714-955-0200.

OC Operations and Maintenance Service Area Storm Watch September 16, 2014Slope Stabilization and Stability of Cuts and Fills Landslide Stabilization and Mitigation Sandbags During the storm season from October 1st to April 30th each year private residents can obtain 50 free, empty sand bags for the protection of their home from rain and mud. Contractors or commercial entities are not permitted. Sand bags are available at 2301 N. Glassell St. Orange, Ca 92865. Sandbags can also be purchased through home centers and other vendors. Disaster Assistance- If your property has been damaged in a State declared emergency, please visit the Office of Emergency Services (OES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) websites to determine if you are eligible for disaster assistance.
